Our emotions guide our values and needs. They tell us a lot about our world, our well-being and who we are. They inform us of our needs and guide our actions to meet them. Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) is a unique empirically-based psychotherapeutic approach. EFT seeks to support people in becoming aware of, making sense of, regulating, accepting, expressing and transforming emotional experience.

EFT helps you to identify, feel, understand, use and regulate your emotions in healthy ways. I guide and encourage you to access your emotions and work with them in meaningful ways. Through the process of Emotion Focused Therapy you will develop self-compassion and healthy protective anger as helpful primary adaptive emotions which will help you feeling more connected to yourself. A better relationship with yourself will help you to alleviate distress, communicate effectively your needs and wants, create meaningful relationships, dissolve painful feelings and break out of  maladaptive emotional states such as depression, anxiety, worrying, guilt, loneliness, shame and helplessness.
