Sessions are offered
in-person OR online!

Appointments and visiting hours

Appointments can be requested any time via email or by phone.
Sessions offered in English, German or Farsi.

Duration

Each session lasts between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the type of therapy or coaching (single, couple or team).

Billing

Sessions will be charged individually and are financed privately.
Individual Psychotherapy can be covered by private insurances.
Psychotherapy at Individual Therapy Berlin remains financially viable, because the meetings are held every two to four weeks.

There are several advantages to private funding: you can start sessions immediately and you can choose the therapist on your own.
This is not always possible when using statutory health insurance. Additionally, nobody will know that you are visiting therapy classes.

Information on VAT

Therapeutic treatments are exempt from value-added tax (VAT) in accordance with Section 4 No. 14 of the German VAT Act (UStG), provided they are medically necessary and carried out by licensed professionals or Heilpraktikerinnen* (alternative practitioners).

Couples therapy may also be exempt from VAT if it serves the treatment of psychological or psychosomatic issues of one or both partners. However, if couples sessions are provided without a medical indication – for example, as part of coaching or life counseling – they are generally subject to VAT.

For psychotherapeutic services that I provide as a Heilpraktiker for Psychotherapy, no VAT is charged.

Coaching services are currently exempt from VAT under Section 4 No. 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG).

Cancelation policy: Appointments have to be canceled 48 hours in advance in order to be free of charge.

Medical confidentiality
Of course everything discussed in our meetings is subject to professional secrecy.
